About Flaxprod
The company Flaxprod offers sustainable and eco-friendly solutions focusing on flax, green energy, the environment and animal welfare.
Flaxprod is a Belgian company specialising in the manufacture of mulch pellets made from flax shives. Our mission is to give horticultural professionals a natural, sustainable and effective solution for crop protection. From our production site in Wielsbeke, we distribute our products across Belgium and internationally.
Flax cultivation itself brings real environmental benefits: it requires few inputs, promotes biological activity in the soil and improves the quality of subsequent crops. Building on this, we specialise in turning flax by-products into resources for green energy, environmental protection and animal welfare.
Drawing on technical studies into the benefits of flax, we are now launching three innovative products derived from flax’s “secondary raw material.”
To manufacture these products, Flaxprod works closely with the French company Prodlin, which owns the granulation technology behind our pelletisation process. This partnership ensures consistent production quality while paving the way for the group’s future industrial development.
As part of this growth, the group is preparing to open a production facility in France to support its expansion across Europe and internationally.
